MOSCOW, Nov 23 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may increase at the opening on Monday backed by positive dynamics of foreign floors, analysts said.
The U.S. stock indices fell by 0.4–0.8%, the U.S. stock index futures are trading slightly above levels of November 20’s close, European indices closed in a moderate minus, and Asian indices are mostly growing, Olma senior analyst Anton Startsev said.
“An increase on the RTS index is possible at the start of trading today. Statements by the U.S. authorities about the possibility of an early (in “a few weeks”) start of vaccination of the population and plans to achieve population immunity by May have bolstered the optimism of market participants (in addition, a gradual easing of social restrictions in France in December and the possibility of easing quarantine in the U.K. for Christmas holidays),” Startsev said.
